Feeling The LOVE Today

Hello cuties!
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day filed with love and beautiful and yummy things! Mine was so special and lovely! We spent a comfy and romantic day together! Ooo . . . I love my sweet boyfriend!
I LOVE YOU lovelies!
Chocolate, sugar,  love notes, things that are pink, random acts of sweetness and flowers are a few reasons why I'm a huge fan of Valentine's Day. But as much as I love and enjoy to be spoiled, giving or doing something sweet for my boyfriend, a friend or for my family is too much fun.
My boyfriend gave me this beautiful flowers! He is such a sweetie! They said that when a men gives to his beloved woman an orchid, he makes her a promise to spoil and protect her a lifetime. Also a pink orchid represents joy, happiness, innocence and pure affection to lovers.

So today I just wanted to quickly share my love with you by doing a round-up of all my Valentine's ideas and projects.

DIY Valentine's Day Scratch-Off Card and Photo

Happy Valentine's Day, my loves!
Yay it's Valentine's day! So today I'm gonna show you a creative idea for a Valentine's day card : a SCRATCH-OFF VALENTINE'S DAY CARD! This could be a last minute gift for your Valentine. Scratch-offs are so much fun!
We all tried the lottery and we all love scratching away with our coin at the card until we see it what's hiding under it. So today we are going to do the same thing on this card for your Valentine!

This little Valentine’s Day scratch-off card is super easy to make. Here is what we need:
  • a card of your choice
  • acrylic paint in any color
  • dish soap
  • paintbrush or a foam brush
 Step 1. Make your card.

Step 2. Make the scratch-off paint : mix 2 parts acrylic paint with 1 part dish soap. Dish soap is the thing that makes the paint scratchable.

Step 3. Cut out any type of stencil that you want to paint over and press firmly .

Step 4. Then using a paintbrush or a foam brush (I found that a foam brush gave great coverage and only needed one coat) apply a thin coat of the scratch-off solution onto the text you want to hide and let dry for an hour. Then you probably need to apply a second coat so that it's covers the message.

Step 5.  You’re done! Now just add a coin and let your Valentine to discover your special message.

Now let me show you an even more creative way to make a scratch-off card. A SCRATCH-OFF POLAROID!

This is really really fun to do and so cute!
Step 1. Print out your favorite photo and cut it out in the shape of  a Polaroid.
Scratch ME!

Step 2. Just use tape to cover the white edges of your Polaroid, paint over and write a message like "Scratch me!" on the bottom.

Step 3.  Now give this to your Valentine and let him do the scratching thing.

Easy, right?

Hope you enjoy making these scratch off card and photo. Happy Valentine's Day!

Darling You're My Dynamite!

Hello my loves!
I don't know about you, but when I think of Valentine's Day, I think of the colors red and pink, hearts and chocolates. This are the only things on my mind. So I have a great craft idea that involves some sweet chocolate.

What you will need...
  • 3 packs of Kinder Bueno
  • 1 sheet of red paper
  • tin foil
  • 2 pipe cleaners
  • glue
Let's make a cute gift:
1. Wrap each Kinder Bueno into tin foil.

2. Trim the red paper into three pieces and wrap each piece around a pack of Kinder Bueno and secure with glue.

3. Gather the three packs of wrapped Kinder Bueno into a bunch, add the pipe cleaner in the middle and secure with the second pipe cleaner.

4.  Lastly, make a tag with the message "Darling, you're my dynamite!" (or any other message that you want). String the tag onto the pipe cleaner. And you're done!

Isn't this an adorable gift idea?

Have fun creating some Valentine's crafts!
Happy Valentine's Day!

Make a Romantic Candle

Hello again lovelies!
For today I have a quick, easy and very cute project. This is perfect for Valentine's Day, but you could also easily use different themes to create a great decorative candle for your home, for parties, for gifts or for any other occasion.

What we need to create this Romantic candle:
  • a candle
  • red and pink papers
  • heart shaped craft punches
  • wax paper
  • hair dryer
So let's get creative and let's decorate some candles!
Punch out some hearts from your red and pink papers using heart-shaped craft punches.

Next, put your hearts on the candle and secure them in place by wrapping the entire candle with a large piece of wax paper.

Now here comes the fun part! Let the magic begin! Using your hair dryer, heat the surface of the candle until you see the candle melting through the hearts.

When the hearts have been entirely melted into the candle, remove the wax paper.

This is it! So easy, but so effective!

Have fun creating!
Happy Valentine's Day!

My Ombre Paper Rose Heart Decor

Good evening my beautiful friends!
Let's make a sweet decoration out of paper for Valentine's Day!

All we need is:
- red and white paper
- one white cardboard
- a photo frame
- red ink pad and a sponge
- scissors
- glue gun

1. Measure your white cardboard to fit the frame.

2. Draw a spiral onto your red paper. It doesn't have to be perfect.

3. Cut your spiral out using scissors, making sure you have that round center, this will be the base of your rose.

4. Start to roll the paper, starting at the end of the spiral.

5. You can play around with the size of the rose by letting it go slightly for a more loose effect.

6. Then apply your glue to the bottom of the rose and close with the round center.

7. And you're done with your first rose. Repeat the same steps with your white paper too.
8. Here comes the fun part! Take your sponge, get ink on it and slightly stamp it on your white paper flower.

9. Now draw lightly with a pencil around your heart template on the white cardboard.

10. Using the glue gun, the last step is to filled in the heart with your paper roses.

This is optional, but I wanted to make it more personalized so I write something on it. "Forever Young!"

Ooo I love how it turned out!

Happy (pre-) Valentine’s Day!
