Valentine's Day Belly Painting & NAME REVEAL

Hello my lovely berries!

With Valentine's Day upon us (exactly one week left) I thought it will be so much fun to make a V-day themed pregnant belly painting.
I've always wanted to have my belly painted, even before my pregnancy. And now it finally happened! Last week, when I was 36 weeks pregnant, my beautiful and talented friend made my wish came true. So thank you so so much! I really appreciate your kindness and support! And I'm so in love with how it turned out!

About the name .  .  . we finally found a name for our little princess! For me, this was the most challenging thing to do. We decided to name her LEA ROSA. And we're so happy and deeply in love with our choice.

Wishing you a very wonderful day!

35 Weeks Pregnant

Hello my sweet friends!

Today I decided to take some pictures at home, in a fitting dress that show off my baby bump. Having a winter pregnancy, I have to dress as thick and warm as possible in all my outdoor outfits, so I can't brag with my belly at 35 weeks.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I have 35 more days to go! What?! I can't bend down and stand up without making a lot of noises these days (ooh, ahh, grr etc.) And I wanted to share these pictures with me wearing a nursing dress and no shoes, just my swelling feets. Because none of my old shoes fit me anymore. ^_^ Pregnancy isn't glamorous! But it's an amazing journey and I want to cherish even these moments too.

Take care Mommies!

New Maternity Coat

Happy Sunday cuties!

These pictures were taken today, when we went for a walk and it started to snow for te first time this season. Yay! Officially winter is here! And it was the perfect time to wear my new maternity jacket from H&M, that came just in time, on Friday. I really needed a new winter coat because my old ones doesn't zip up over my growing belly anymore. And now I feel so warm and cozy and I love it!

Stay warm, lovelies!

It's a . . . G I R L !

Hello my sweet berries!

It's a .............. G I R L !!!

Today I'm officially 25 weeks pregnant and counting it everyday! I can't believe it! First I didn't truly believe that everything we experience was real, but now I'm starting to think that the 9 months of pregnancy gives you time to enjoy each moment of this beautiful miracle, called life. It's amazing and I don't know how, but nature was tought of everything.
First it was a positiv pregnancy test, then a digital one, just to be sure ^_^ Then it was the first ultrasound, first heartbeat and tears of joy. On August 20th we felt the baby's little moves, they felt more like a butterfly wings. Then on October 7th we felt baby's stronger movements for the first time, it was definitely her first kick, but yet these stronger movements are so . . . natural. A sensation that you can not confuse or compare it to anything else, is unique.
And now we found out we are having a baby girl! The minute the ultrasound technician said girl we both exploded with happiness! We feel blessed! Now I'm so excited to start buying pink and cute little outfits and dresses . . . aww!

Wishing you a beautiful day!

9 PREGNANCY MUST-HAVES

Happy Mommy Monday, lovelies!

Here are my top pregnancy must-haves witch I can't live without. ^_^

1. Water
Yes, water! This sounds like a no-brainer, but honestly drinking enough water is so important, especially during pregnancy. And if you know me, than you know I can't go anywhere without a bottle of water. I just love water!

2. Prenatal vitamins
I'm taking the FemiBaby everyday. These come with two tablets : a prenatal multivitamin which includes folic acid and an omega-3 fish oil capsule.

3. Maternity clothes
Before pregnancy, it had never occured to me to buy maternity clothes. But they make such a big difference, especially maternity jeans and leggings, trust me. I seriously can't imagine going without them!

4. Bio Oil
Whether you're already got stretch marks or you're just preventing them, or you want to keep your skin well moisturised, every pregnant woman should have some bio-oil in their life! So I use this everyday at night time before bed on my boobs, belly and hips to prevent new stretch marks and also to help with the old ones.

5. Snack & Tea
Especially on my first trimester I always had to eat something, a little snack or a fruit, or else I felt sick. I've always been a big coffee and tea drinker, but ever since getting pregnant I don't like drinking coffee anymore. But I still love tea, and I drink it everyday.

6. Pregnancy pillow
OMG! If is something I needed the most, than that is a maternity pillow. I started using it in the second trimester when sleeping gets uncomfortable and you need more support at night. You can also use this afterwards for nursing.

7. Batiste Dry Shampoo
I think every mommy-to-be and every new mom shoud have a bottle of dry shampoo around. ^_^  I shower everyday, but I wash my hair only two times per week. But during my pregnancy, my hair gets greasy really quickly, so for me, a dry shampoo is a must have (but make sure not to inhale it)

8. Ovia Pregnancy App
There are so many pregnancy apps available now and I've downloaded quite a few but the one I really feel is the most informative and easiest to keep up with is the Ovia Pregnancy app. This tracks your pregnancy and sends you daily tips and updates on symptoms, and as well your baby's growth.

9. Pregnancy books
I love reading! And even before getting pregnant I know I wanted to read and to be more informed about my pregnancy. But actually I didn't bought a book immediately when we found out we were expecting. I only bought these 2 books just a couple of months ago, one is in roumanian and the other one is in german.

I hope this blog post helps, especially if you're going through your first pregnancy, like me, and you're looking for some tips!

Hello, Sunshine!

Hello my lovelies!

Today I'm officially 20 weeks pregnant, and sometimes still can't believe that this is actually our reality now.  It's a very surreal and beautiful feeling!

My sweet baby, please continue to grow strong and healthy, 50% of you is done!
