My heart is grateful

Happy first day of August!

         It's  my birth month. I'm turning thirthy. Wait . . . what? 30??? 30!!! Hmmm, I can't even believe how quickly another decade has gone . . . So looking back, what I'm most filled with is gratitude. As I often say, we should be careful not to focus only on our biggest accomplishments and best moments - you know, the kinds of things most of us share on social media. Those are important, but we should also be sure to love the fullness of our stories. That includes the tough moments we persevered through, the messiness of everyday life and the memories that are still a little bit tender. Though they're difficult, those moments can be some of the most beautiful parts of our lives. 

        So today, I'm thankful for all of those moments that helped me get to where I am.

Happy Easter, my lovely berries!

          Ideally, Easter is for going to church and spending time with family and friends. But, this year, things are different. And while we miss doing all of that, we're also very grateful for spending some quality time just the three of us! I'm grateful for our health, for our safe place to call home, for internet, yummy food, our smile and our life together.

Dear Lea Rosa,

you were born one year ago today and I can't believe where the time has gone and how you are so big already. You have taught me so much about myself and about life, you have shown me that I am stronger than I ever knew, and that we do everything for you because we love you so much. I want you to know that you have lit up my life and given me a purpose I never knew of before 💕 I love you! 

         How did this happen so fast? Lea is already one and we couldn't be more in love with our funny, sweet, cute and sassy little baby. ❤

4 Months Old

Happy four months my precious Mini Strawberry!

       Lea Rosa is four months old! Babies change so much in 4 months. She is growing too fast! Tomorrow she'll probably slam the door in my face or move to college. :)) I love you my sweet daughter!

Last Month

Happy Sunday!

       The countdown begins! Only a month left (or 28 days) until my actual due date. We can't wait to meet our beautiful baby girl! Oh I'm starting to feel a little emotional!!!

         Also, I love the look of maternity denim overalls and I've been looking for one for so long. They look so so cute! And I'm so happy that I finally found the perfect pair. I love it! 

It's Christmas Market Time!

            Wishing you all a day filled with peace, love and happiness! Hope your Sunday was as magical as mine. We just came back from the Christmas market, were we had a cup of blood orange punch (because prego girl ^_^), chestnuts and strawberry & Nutella crepe. 

             There's just something so magical about these markets, and I love spending quality time with my hubby, especially because this is our last Christmas before baby arrives.  I can't believe we're going to be a family of three! Aww I just can't wait our next Christmas, it's going to be more magical and more special with our little bundle of joy!
