Happy Easter, my lovely berries!

          Ideally, Easter is for going to church and spending time with family and friends. But, this year, things are different. And while we miss doing all of that, we're also very grateful for spending some quality time just the three of us! I'm grateful for our health, for our safe place to call home, for internet, yummy food, our smile and our life together.

Hello cuties!

       Our little angel Lea Rosa turned 1 month today. What a blessing it is to observe her and to see her grow everyday. What I have learned from her so far is to stay calm and be present. I'm so looking forward to learn fom her more and more as she develops.

Dear my precious little girl Lea Rosa,

       You're here, you're finally here. I've dreamed about you for so long, far longer than the nine months that I carried you inside of my body. You're my little daughter! I'm a Mommy now! A Mommy of one beautiful, healthy and perfect little girl. I've made and had a perfect daughter with the love of my life - your Daddy. What more could I possibly want?! 

       You've been so loved and so wanted much longer than you've been alive - you're so very special to us. We've been waiting to begin our new chapter as first time parents, as a family of three, and more importantly you're just starting out on your very own journey - this is the very beginning of your life. My sweet baby girl, as you lay here beside me right now, you're making little noises and you look so tiny, my heart is exploding with love, with pride and with joy. You're so PERFECT! 

        Here are some first pictures of your first few moments of your life with the two people who will always love and protect you unconditionally. We love you more than you'll ever know!

It's a . . . G I R L !

Hello my sweet berries!

It's a .............. G I R L !!!

        Today I'm officially 25 weeks pregnant and counting it everyday! I can't believe it! First I didn't truly believe that everything we experience was real, but now I'm starting to think that the 9 months of pregnancy gives you time to enjoy each moment of this beautiful miracle, called life. It's amazing and I don't know how, but nature was tought of everything.

         First it was a positiv pregnancy test, then a digital one, just to be sure ^_^ Then it was the first ultrasound, first heartbeat and tears of joy. On August 20th we felt the baby's little moves, they felt more like a butterfly wings. Then on October 7th we felt baby's stronger movements for the first time, it was definitely her first kick, but yet these stronger movements are so . . . natural. A sensation that you can not confuse or compare it to anything else, is unique.

         And now we found out we are having a baby girl! The minute the ultrasound technician said girl we both exploded with happiness! We feel blessed! Now I'm so excited to start buying pink and cute little outfits and dresses . . . aww!

Pregnancy Update: FIRST TRIMESTER

Happy Mommy Monday!

       I've always dreamed of writing my first pregnancy post, and now I can't believe my time has come. It's amazing how a little person comes along and change your life so much without even realizing it.

        We are so excited! Thank you for coming to us, baby! We can't wait for the weeks ahead (the good parts ^_^) and can't wait to found out if you are a BOY or a GIRL :)  

         So today, I tought I'd share a little recap of what my first trimester was like.
