The Advent wreath is a circular garland of evergreen branches representing eternity. On that wreath, four candles are typically arranged. They represent the
four weeks of preparation. During the season of Advent
one candle on the wreath is lit each Sunday. Each candle represents an aspect of the spiritual preparation
for the coming of the Lord.
The meaning of the candles is as follows:
First candle: represents hope.
Second Candle: stands for love.
Third candle: represents joy.
Fourth candle: is a symbol of peace.
But now I will show you an unusual Advent wreath. It is a McDonald's cup holder wreath! Very easy, very cheap and very fun project to achieve. So let's all recycle!
McDonald's cup holder |
Pine branches |
Some ribbons and four candles |
Secure the branches to the cup holder with the ribbon. |
As a final touch add a purple ribbon and you are done! |
I told you that it will be easy!
XOXO,
